Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.1 is now available for all supported Wifi 6 models

Updated firmware on the 14th. Router (GT-AX6000) randomly rebooted just now. Very light load; watching twitch stream and running an online game/discord. There doesn't seem to be any indication of a problem causing this reboot.. it just rebooted out of nowhere. Snip of log just before: Dec...

Solved RT-AX86U Reboot Loops In Merlin 386.7_2

Just had this same thing happen to me on my GT-AX6000. Huge huge crash log, but that same ipv6 thing was at the end. I don't use IPv6, nor does my ISP support it. Another thread about it: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/rt-ax86u-random-reboots.80646/ Weird 'cause I don't really recall this...

Upgraded from AC87U to AX6000, measurable latency increase

Having adaptive QoS enabled seems to be causing that 4-5x upload latency increase during the test. Setting bandwidth to auto doubles it (and seems to just not cap at all). "Cake" (whatever that is) does this as well. I was using Adaptive on the AC87U without this issue. Regardless, I've...

Upgraded from AC87U to AX6000, measurable latency increase

I don't see much talk about the AX6000 on these forums; which makes me feel like I've purchased a dud after finally testing the router out. Here's the simplest way I can show the issue: AC87U: AX6000: The AX6000 is consistently 2-3ms higher at baseline, and a bizarre 4-5x (30-40ms)...

AC87U - Mobile (WiFi) connectivity crippled at random, can affect wired devices on 2.4G

So the short consensus is it's probably the router and its hardware and no amount of configuration changes will do anything. I don't have the cash to afford replacing this high-end router after holiday shopping and my own PC upgrade (3950x, ouch), nor do I pay attention to networking hardware...

AC87U - Mobile (WiFi) connectivity crippled at random, can affect wired devices on 2.4G

I've been having a bizarre issue with my network over the last year that no amount of troubleshooting has seemed to resolve. To summarize: Every so often the wifi connection will severely degrade. Speeds will drop to 1-10mbit (from 200) and the connection will start hanging. The problem can...
