I have the same issue wireless over 5Ghz with my AX86U as well. My Xbox one x is at 21mbps on a 1gb internet plan. My old AC86u was much higher

Can’t you set it to WPA2/WPA3 and be good?

Tried updating my AX86U and AC86U with no luck. I can download the files and when I hit apply nothing happens on either router. Tried 2 computers and multiple browsers with no luck Even tried updating from the ASUS router app and nothing

DFS has been working for me with most devices. Oddly my AC86U in bridge mode won’t connect

Anybody here try these settings or recommend them? I may try them this weekend and see what results I get.

Thank you. I will give that a try. I may do a reset as well as I have some devices which I had better speeds with my AC86U. It’s probably settings that I need to adjust so we will see.

I started fresh and with no backup as my router is new. I will do a full reset over the weekend and see if that works. Funny thing is I can make changes on my phone browser and hit apply and it works - go figure.

Mine looked like this as well and now it does not. Also anytime I change a setting and hit apply nothing happens. Latest Merlin FW and did hard reset

I always buy my ASUS routers from Best Buy because I like to use my points saved to put towards the purchase. Plus if you have any old routers sitting around they give you an extra 15% off for recycling with them. I had an old wireless n router I recycled last time. Never had an issue price...

Now that the AX11000 is supported is it worth it without the ROG features?
