    If you are using a VPN, ie surfshark, Nordvpn, don't use tp devices. Has problems using VPN.

    Everything is stock. Most settings are out of the box. And it only happens on fusion. Before fusion the 5 Nordvpn switchable config files were working fine.

    I have 2 asus routers . Both with the same nordvpn client's. Ie Los Angeles. Identical. One shows the speed test being in Los Angeles . The one with VPN fusion doesn't. Something is afoot. And the 86u use to work properly before fusion. I would greatly suspect I don't have a setting set...

    Well I have 2 asus routers using the same 5 van's. The rt-ac68u always goes through the router vpn. The rt-ax86u doesn't. Yes, in Mexico. Before router rt-86u was updated to fusion, it worked properly. Maybe I have to set the Lan to an different ip. I left default settings. It worked straight...

    Using vpn fusion. Getting notice, not available in your area. Used to work before updating to fusion. Ip shows VPN. Speed test shows Mexican server. Should be px arizona.

    I bit the bullet and factory reset the router this morning after trying to get rid of Alexa with my Gmail account that I added about the same time. Now I just need to figure what to tweak. As I am up and running. Made the same side as before, so most item reconnected.

    I will try and reset, I saw yesterday 5g was turned off when I tried to add a extender with wds button. So, I turned it on but poof 5g disappeared. I see 5g on my other Asus router.     My 5g disappeared, I think after the last update. My laptop wired to router says connected to 5g. But wireless is no where to be found. I think the best thing I can do is to factory reset the router(ax86u)I don't know where to look. Before I saw a 5g turn on switch, now I don't.

    I will try that, eventually I will migrate everything to the 86u. The problem existed on the 68u before I added the 86u. NowI see both appear to be the same. The isp doesn't change, and the download stays the same. .

    There are 4 ports on the optic cable modem/ router. I have 3 routers connected to ports. A TP-Link router, a 68u router, and an 86u router connected to 3 of the 4 ports.     Optical, they state 50 Mbps, but I get 25. Good enough. I have 9 cameras attached, 4 smart plugs, and 2 laptops, 5 androids using split routers on same ISP modem. So 3 routers on same isp modem

    It's a problem that effects both router's. Not sure where to look. Isp stays constant. Not sure where to check. Computer literate, it so much on routers though.
