    I've the same router and had the same issues as you - wireless connections to the router were really unstable especially from LG TV and iPhone.     Routers need hard reboot (powercycle) as they hang

    The only thing I can think of in my case is something (whatever that is) is becoming choked up in the hardware and only powering off the router can clear it. E.g. buffers at the LAN interface port. If the issues do not show up in the GUI and therefore f/w, such as a memory leak or something...

    Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

    Got my vote! You only need to look at the changelog to realise it's been a nightmare for a long time. Will continue to use Merlin 384.13 on AC88U until code base is unified.

    It seems an ASUS firmware issue. I cannot find the thread I saw yesterday but downgraded to Merlin 384.13 and all appears solid over the last 24 hours or so. Will continue testing and update here.
