This is not an interference issue. It is complete loss of the 2.4 GHz radio. The only way to restore service is to re-boot the router. If it was an interference issue, re-booting the router would not immediately solve the problem.

New router May 22, 2016. Firmware updated upon installation. In anywise, firmware version is 3.0.0.4.378_9529.
Power Cycled the router and the ATV 3 was one of the first things I tried.
Static IP. Never required that in the past. Why now?
