    Tried both rebooting and power cycling, best I could get was 300KB/s. Unfortunately, gonna try Shibby and see if that works.

    Restoring back to stock FW

    Currently, on Merlin build 3.0.0.4.270.24 on the N66U, can I just directly restore latest stock firmware (version 3.0.0.4.270) via the web UI Administrator -> Firmware Upgrade? Also, how do you backup JFFS on Merlin FW? Thanks.

    Ch 1 is the least populated channel in my area, there is only one other wifi on Ch 1 that can only be picked up in some areas of my house, but beyond that its there are 3-4 wifi in each respective channels. I am using 3 different devices next to each other for all my test, all android phones...

    Currently on Merlin build 3.0.0.4.270.24 and having wifi speed issues. Using only 2.4GHz on Channel 1 (5GHz disabled) and the next closest wifi signal in my area is channel 3. I am on DSL 15Mbps/1Mbps profile. When I am standing right next to the router, I am getting close to full speedtest...

    I will stick with NTFS then for reasons Merlin mentioned. Its a flash drive, fyi. Can you format the drive directly from N66U?

    was just browing via telnet and it seems like the files are executable Also, I just copy and pasted the codes directly from your instructions using notepad++ for the two files.

    Yes I did make the scrips executable, but to be safe I did it again. Got a blank screen after I entered the "chmod a+rx /jffs/scripts/*" command. Then I put in still getting But its there when I telnet in..... :confused:

    when I type this command in Tools-->Run cmd I get this no mention of 10.0.0.2 NOTE: I put the XX:XX:XX in there, as that is the MAC address of my router. something went wrong?

    The file copying went smoothly, just as you mentioned. But, what address do I use to access the modem's web interface now? Used to be http://10.0.0.138/ . 10.0.0.138 is still giving me cannot display the webpage I rebooted the router twice and these are the files I copied...
