    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.20648

Go to redflagdeals and look to one of the threads discussing this router. You still should not post illegal hacks. But at least they don’t block discussions and private messages.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Can someone sumarize what features we'll lose when going from merlin 380_70 to this build for an N66U? Given that there was just a release of 380_70 migrating to this fork, but if I am not losing feature I actively use there is no reason to defer migrating.

    [Feature Request] Access Intranet

Exactly. For my router on firmware 380.69_2, the intranet access option appears in "AP" mode. For my newer routers on 384.4_2 the intranet access option does not appear in "AP" mode. If there is some technical reason why this is difficult, impossible, or not advisable, then I'll just have to...

    [Feature Request] Access Intranet

It seems some versions of the firmware have an Access Intranet feature for guest networks, and some doesn't. If it is not a huge amount of effort could this be added into the AC68U builds? I like to use the same SSID for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, so my devices don't need to have multiple...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.20648

Once it has been reverted to the TM-AC1900 firmware you might has treat as bricked. 5GHz won't work correctly, nor will USB drives. All firmwares will report having an invalid signature, even in the recovery console. As such you cannot revert to an older version of the TM-AC1900 firmware to...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

So what would be the recommendation with an RT-N66U. Should I downgrade to this version for the security fixes, or should I remain at 380.69 without the security fixes? What features would I lose by downgrading?

    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 pre-release test builds

The problem is I don't have a good way of knowing the nodes are actually working in mesh mode, or just as access points that happen to show up as mesh nodes. If you can think of some features you want to be certain are working and ways to test them, I can try them next time I flash the alpha...

    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 pre-release test builds

OK. I just tried to the build on my AC68U's. The flashes to the AIMesh Nodes seem to proceed without issues. Both nodes came back up on my mesh network. I then flashed the AiMesh Router. The router came back up with no detectable AIMesh functionality. There was no list of nodes, and no...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Did I mention anything about trying to access the router through the node? Let me start again. Maybe this time be clearer. Initial conditions: Two identical routers. Router A & Router B. I set Router A to be the AI Mesh Router, and fully configured. I attempted to set Router B as an AI...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Here is a bug I noticed. When I went to reflash the firmware, I first saved all the settings on the Router. I then restored them on a Node I had already flashed. It took seconds to swap in the replacement outage, so I was expected my wife could continue to watch TV just fine. My experience...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Last night when I wired up one of the mesh nodes, and when I got to the bedroom the network was down. I had plugged the a line into the WAN from the AiMesh router and thought that would work, but instead it took out everything. Today, I repeated the experiment. Only last time I had the line...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

OK. I just don't get it. How do I get a node to connect? I have v3.0.0.4.384.10007 on two AC68U routers. Earch works fine as a router. But as soon as I put one in AiMesh Node mode, it tells me to login into the other router. I login there and search for a node, but none is ever found...

    Asus-Merlin RT-N16 - Corrupt Build

I noticed it was also significantly smaller that build 49. Which leads me to believe it is truncated. But if you are certain it is a false negative, I will try it. There is no issues unziping it, just the error when I verify the integrity of the file.
