Updated without a hitch. After installation was complete deleted assignments that were leftover from the previous non pro GN and then made a backup file. Good job.
Go with the wired Access Point. You won't regret it. I've been using this setup for several years with guest Wi-Fi on both routers using Guest Network #2 for several IOT devices with no issues.
Updated Diversion to 5.1.1 and enabled "exclude devices from ad-blocking" and Dnsmasq restarted without failure on AC-1900P using 386.12_6. Great work. Thanks.
This morning I upgraded my AC-1900P to 386.12_6 and saw the same exact message. Most of the 2.4 GHz wireless clients would not connect. I thought about disabling Diversion but reinstalled 386.12_0 instead. Everything back to normal.
I had a similar experience on a RT-AC1900P after loading 386.10. After reading other posts here I downgraded to 386.9 and things got worse. I even tried dropping back to 386.7.2. There were devices no matter what I did that would not connect to either the 2.4Ghz or the 2.4Ghz Guest 2 network...
Had held off installing 386.7 because of the issues with the Diversion shortcut. Updated the shortcut and the firmware last night on a AC1900P and everything is working fine.
It doesn't. I thought the same thing and tried it both ways with no success on my iPhone. The ads seem to appear on Safari and not on Firefox so I went into Settings and opened Safari. In the General Section there is an item called Content Blockers which upon opening showed one blocker --...
My windows 10 PCs (2), and a Raspberry Pi are set to sync off 192.168.1.1. I’m using the built in Merlin time server on my RT-AC1900P router. Works great.
After doing a "Refresh Firefox..." am able to load both UPS and Verizon sites successfully.
Edit: Well that didn't work. Had to import the pixelserv-tls CA certificate again after which both sites are not working.
