Hi, I've updated my RT-AC87U from last stable release (384.7_2) to the latest alpha build (3).. it all seems to be working fine, however there's a entry showing in the list of clients as "ASUS" .its mac address matches the router's 5 GHz mac address. I have wifi disabled in the router since I...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-merlin 384.4 Beta is now available

Hi, Interesting... wondering why the daemon's activity seems to be logged incorrectly... as mentioned before, when disks spin up, nothing shows up in the log, then they spin down, the log says they are spinning up... can anybody reproduce/confirm this behavior? Cheers, D.

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-merlin 384.4 Beta is now available

Great, thanks. I flashed my router with this version, it all appears to be working fine except for one thing: When disk drives spin down the message says the opposite: "Spinning up /dev/sdx", when the disk drives spin up, no message is shown... Thank you once again for supporting the 87u and...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-merlin 384.4 Beta is now available

btw... since sd–idle was merged to ASUS' I don't see the "spinning up xxxx after yyyy" messages in the general log... I've tried several log levels but I just don't see the messages when my disks spin up or down. Does anybody know if these messages are actually logged anymore? I'd like to know...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-merlin 384.4 Beta is now available

Similar issues here on the 87u... it doesn't disconnect but it doesn't find all the files... I get memory errors in some specific files in the minidlna.log file and it happens with video files that have many audio tracks and/or subtitles... I guess it has to do with the fact this firmware uses...

Looking good so far on AC87U... Thank you RMerlin... Just wondering why I don't see the disk spinning down/up notice in the system log anymore... and yes, the feature is enabled and disks are actually spinning down/up... did default log level change? I upgraded from 380.69_2 Cheers, D.

    RT-AC87u firmware development

I guess this means there is no official 384 branch FW for the 87u and therefore, no RMerlin version of it either...

    ASUS RT-AC87U_9.0.0.4_384_110

er... ok, but is this firmware going to be released officially? And if so, will the source code be published so that we can expect a RMerlin version of it? Thanks!
