@RMerlin
In commit b74640 (back in September 2017) you enabled SMB2 by default on the HND platform, but Advanced_AiDisk_samba.asp still contains the text "Enable SMB2 protocol (default: No)", regardless of the hardware platform.

Both alpha 1 and 2 are beautiful on my 5300...fyi! Just got alpha 2 installed, but it looks as solid as the 1 build.

I concur. Out of some desperation I installed alpha2. It is solid. In fact, traffic reporting on interfaces is now working again compared to 380.69_2. I think the only thing not working is Web History. It is on but the tables are empty? Need time to populate?

EDIT - this is on AC5300 as well.

Fantastic 384.4 is looking to be a very stable release for the RT 5300. Am holding out for the final release

Keep up the great work @RMerlin and all testers ❤️

Compared to EVERYTHING ELSE out there, this is the bomb! My recommendation? Do yourself a favor and get the alpha. You won't regret it!

Can't get IPsec to work on my RT-AC86U with an iPhone running iOS 11.2.6.

Only get this log:

Code:
Feb 21 21:54:03 02[IKE] <ip address> is initiating a Aggressive Mode IKE_SA

EDIT: Oops...

"If you connect to the router from the Internet through IPSev VPN and cannot access the server inside the LAN, disable or check the LAN server’s firewall settings."

https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1033574

Got it working!

Upgraded from alpha 1 to alpha 2 on the ac5300, MAC filtering CSS is now corrected, and the Protected Management Frame option is now visible, on top of the channel's next to auto channel selection, now displays current channel.

Everything seems to be stable so far, couldn't find any more issue's or error's outside of the issue present on alpha 1 & 2. The web history not displaying despite being activated. Last time it was functioning correctly was when I was on 380.69.2

Best,
Davi

RT–AC87u 384.4 Alpha 1 and now in Alpha 2 as well... I did a full reset after installed Alpha1, I did not reset after updating to Alpha2... does anybody have the same issue?

Cheers,
D.

Up grade the freshjr script your running to beta 5
Also disable qos then reboot to see if it helps.

Wow thats exactly the issue im having on 384.3. I assumed it was related to freshjr faketc stuff but it appears its maybe fw related. Im running ac3100.

All it means is that qos is running and it can't change the configuration while it's in use if you still have issues just upgrading the script or factory reset.

@RMerlin I fixed the SSH issue with a factory reset, for some reason SSH access bugged out after flashing to beta one, it kept saying connection refused.

well ive tried everything I think.. so if I like turn off qos, power cycle, reboot everything should be fine? cuz it isn't. as soon as I turn on qos that's the spam I get everytime

combined with fresh jr it seems to be dbl spamming my log with errors inbetween his modifications.

Upgraded my RT-AC3100 to 384.4_alpha2-g508109e and so far no issues. Great work @RMerlin !!

A2 still solid on AC5300. DDNS update however defaulted to every 60m which tripped a temporary ban from no-ip due to excessive host updating. The minimum is every 6 hours. I've since changed it to comply. This may be something to change as far as defaults are concerned.
