1. Could it be that you are using PPTP, L2TP or PPPoE (Your Internet connection require a login)?
No. No VPN, and no login to my ISP. My cable modem is an Arris SB6183. It handles ISP authentication, and the R7800 is connected to it with an Ethernet cable.
2. Have you tried it with NSS...
My language is set to English. My screen is similar to your screenshot for English, except that my version information appears in a single line (rather than 2).
As long as the version contains the letters "SF" after it, it is Voxel. The stock firmware does not have any letters as a suffix...
I never said that I was an "unhappy" beta tester. As I understand it (and as you have pointed out several times before), my obligation as a tester is to actively use the software, look for issues, report what I have found (in detail), and attempt to resolve the issues (or help in the...
If that is true, the limitation and the required configuration should be flagged on the Bandwidth Usage page. Or perhaps access to the Bandwidth Usage page should be blocked unless hardware acceleration is disabled. Why have an ostensible feature that doesn't work?
Hi @kamoj
I last reported on the Bandwidth Usage on May 4. I have been monitoring it carefully since then, and it isn't working well for me.
My ISP reports that I have used 142 GB of data in May. All of that must go through the R7800 router. The number is roughly equivalent to the amount...
No, the USB wasn't removed, and the count wasn't reset to 0. And the 1-minute lag is most definitely not the issue.
I now find that the Bandwidth Monitor hasn't updated at all since 2 May at 20:12 (shortly after I installed b28). I searched for chron jobs that force an update, but couldn't...
Hi Kamoj,
This report relates to an R7800 running Voxel 84SF and Kamoj b26 (because the report relates to measurements taken during the month of April, before the release of b27; having said that, it doesn't appear that any of the changes in b27 would likely affect what I am reporting).
The...
Thumb drive (for entware); ext4. It happened to me twice (drive no longer recognized; had to be reformatted, and the entware reinstalled). After the 2nd incident, I decided to remove both thumb drives whenever I flash new Voxel firmware (the other is for Kamoj). Better safe than sorry.
I have found that I can generally avoid the USB reformat if I remove the USBs before upgrading the Voxel firmware (not necessary when performing only Kamoj upgrades).
Yes, both @kamoj and @n1llam1 interpreted my report correctly; the add-on is working "as designed" for me. I will add (in response to a comment made by @kamoj) that my system is plain "vanilla"; none of the many possible extensions are enabled (though I watch with interest what all the rest of...
Now that you are releasing snapshots, what it the anticipated timeframe between snapshots (presumably cumulative) and a release? I appreciate that the circumstances of the change(s) may, to some degree, drive the answer, so I'm simply seeking a general guidance. Once a month?
I did not back up any files to the router (at least not knowingly).
Yes, my overlay output shows a bit more than yours, 699.5M. ;-)
I have attached it. I see the there is an /entware directory, so I deleted it. I also deleted the file "entware-cortex-a15-3x-initial-generic.tar.gz", and the...
After creating a new entware USB, and rebooting (without any USBs installed), I noticed that my MTD System Disk Usage is maxed out at 100% (see attached image). I've never seen it this way before. The last screenshot I took (in April 2020) showed it at 19.6% with 9.758 in use.
Any ideas as to...
