That is true. However, there is the issue with ISP dynamic IP address. You need update your IP address to OpenDNS to keep the DNS filters working. Unless there’s something I’m not understanding.

Thank you for your reply. You ask me when was the last time I reset without restoring configuration, it’s been a long time. So I did a reset and the parental controls works. They stop working if I restore using the last saved configuration. So I guess the problem is some incompatible setting...

At some point the parental controls-Web and app filters have stopped working. I can’t even toggle on that service. Not sure if it’s a firmware issue or something else going on. I’m running Merlin 386.9 on a RT-AC86U. Any ideas why this service is failing to enable?
