Hey, I was having the same issue long time ago, I resolved it by disable the smart connect, hope this been fixed in the future. I am using the same network name for all SSID

Still having the same issue with AiMesh, I need to disable the smart connect in order to connect to RT-AX88U

I did upgrade all my routers (GT-AXE16000 and RT-AX88U) to 3.0.0.4.388.22525 and I didn't have any issue. The only issue the AiMesh will not work when having RT-AX88U so I had to disable the smart connect which make everything work correctly.

I was having the same problem till I figured a workaround by disabling the Smart Connect use the same network name and password for all wifi
