    LAN speed set up.

Update 3 Turned off the ax11000 pro QOS mode. Now the desktop gets 1920MB speed. Gonna swap back the 2.5gb port with the 10gb port and see if QOS mode was the issue all along. Cheers Edit. Swapped the ports back and kept QOS off, desktop still getting 1900MB. Problem solved. Cheers.

    LAN speed set up.

Update, Full reset didn't do anything. Different cables didn't do anything. Direct connection didn't do anything. I swapped the 2.5gb port on the ax11000 pro with the 10gb port. Modem to ax11000 pro via 10gb port. Ax11000 pro 2.5gb port to switch 10gb port. Now the desktop gets 1114MB...

    LAN speed set up.

Speedtest.Net on desktop Built in speed test on xbox Built in speed test on ax11000 pro I have a spare cat 8, and a cat 5e I can try tonight but I figured the cable was fine because the link speeds show 2500mb from switch to desktop, and 10gb from ax11000 to switch. I'll try a direct run from...

    LAN speed set up.

Current new setup as my previous single router rog rapture gt-ac5300 couldn't handle my 45+ devices and some had begun dropping wifi. Didn't realize I had a 1.9GB connection until I purchased the AX11000 pro and ran a built in speed test which gives 1.9GB+. I've wired my house with cat 8 when...

    Gt-ac5300 random red wan.

Yes they are all new, I've already passed them through the walls and to the basement rooms (cctv pc) (xbox one) (4 port switch) But I can probably connect them all to the modem and leave the router unplugged from ethernet cables, and use a cat 6a from modem to router? Also, I forgot to add...

    Gt-ac5300 random red wan.

Yes but I've left it at basic settings, I've only changed the lan ip, put the wifi name to what it was before so my device have seamless reconnect, and enabled aimesh. This time around I've enabled ipv6 on the router to see if it fixed the issue but I guess not.

    Gt-ac5300 random red wan.

Okay, so I've gone ahead and exchanged the router. I updated it and reset it. Was working fine for a few days but today at 1046 (prior) the wifi shut down again and rebooted. I've saved the system log. Could this just be a firmware issue?

    Gt-ac5300 random red wan.

I have a 4 year warranty on this guy from best buy. So I may just opt in to get it replaced. no issue for 3 days, then today the wifi completely went down, would pop up and disappear not allowing anything to connect to it, even though all the led's were white, so I dont know anymore. Apr 8...

The log starts on April 1st, jumps to may 5 then jumps to April 2 at 23:30 hrs. I copied some of the prior code but there's a lot more for may 5. I'm confused as to why. ______________________________________________________ May 5 01:05:09 kernel: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer...

    Gt-ac5300 random red wan.

Asus firmware 3.0.0.4. 384_45149 (up to date) Full reset was done at the firmware update. My settings are mostly minimal these days, just enable the ai to sort out traffic, set up password, and rename devices. I'm considering that Mac add allow list but I'm not always home and the wife is tech...

    Gt-ac5300 random red wan.

Good day, I've had my gt-ac5300 since December 2018, I have all the ethernet cables as cat8, and one going to the basement to a gigabyte switch. The cable from the modem Is also cat8. Occasionally, I'd get a message from my n'est doorbell saying it went offline. I always thought it to be a...
