Advice request: Firmware for Netgear R7800

I am looking for advice on which firmware I should use, or a pros/cons list for stock, Voxel, DD-Wrt, other? Background: I've been using the same modem and router for nearly a decade (I know, I know). I'm on (USA) cable internet up to 150Mbps, but never get above 50, because we didn't need more...
