Hi.. I hoped to find dig or any new dns tools in the firmware. but I only found nslookup. Why is nslookup still there if it was advised since 2004 not to be used ? http://cr.yp.to/djbdns/nslookup.html My concerns is that nslookup is been used for some functions for the router.

And the only thing that fix it for me is to change channel in 5G settings and then save, turn off, start.

I have this problem to... it nothing about channel or anything... in the software the 5G looks ON but on the router itself the 5G LED just goes OFF and 5G is gone. Its more of a driver crash that the GUI cant see or understand. I am RT-AX88U

Ok, just bad design from ASUS and even a security risk to even starting up services that users not even want to use. Would be easy to implement that functionality and that's how you normally do things. SMB is not really know for security :)
