AX86U Pro 10mins Reboot Loop with Port-Trigger Feature Enabled

Thanks for the opinion. That's a nice feature to solve my incoming wifi call problem. But if it is problematic, I could disable that. Just spent me so much time to figure out this feature causing the crash. It drives me crazy

AX86U Pro 10mins Reboot Loop with Port-Trigger Feature Enabled

I am using wifi call on my cell phones as my house not receiving good signal for calling. If not having 500 & 4500 UDP enabled, incoming calls always failed for the first time. For the teams, that's optional to me. I can just remove it for simple. I have been tried for 3.0.0.4_388.23565...

AX86U Pro 10mins Reboot Loop with Port-Trigger Feature Enabled

I have a newly bought RT-AX86U Pro and faced reboot loop for every 10-15 minutes. I used to think it was related to the massive outage event of ASUS earlier. I even went to claim for another hardware from ASUS store, but the problem still persist. I also tried different firmware versions, but...

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

So delight to have more control on the nodes. now I can disable 2.4GHz on the nodes one by one & even control the nodes' USB applications. Only that when vowifi roaming between node & route, the calls still switched back to radio. Is it 802.11k/v not enough to do the roaming but 802.11r?

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81049

Seems the openvpn server really unstable and I got something like cert. error at the "Export OpenVPN configuration file" field. I tried restart on vpn server and even regenerated another new cert key pairs but the problem came back for less than a day.

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.45713

Maybe I can think it in this way. Just like wifi server side & laptop client side have to be in the same channel. In order to let aimesh nodes communicate with each other over wireless, they have to be in the same channel. That's could explain this behavior. I agree that it would be much...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.45713

I could further imagine the root cause of the aimesh disconnection problem. 1. AImesh needs all the mesh nodes in the same wifi channel. 2. When two of the nodes' locations are too nearby, they detect each other as noise and change to other channel together. 3. Result, it will change the...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.45713

When the disconnections appear, I found these logs. I believe it drops the clients when adjusting the channels. kind of like rebooting the wireless. I will try to move it to static channel and try. I couldn't believe ASUS is playing the same way with Cisco DCA which the default scan frequency is...

    Asus RT-AC68 offered 3.0.0.4.384_45708

My setup is using AC68U C1 as the Wan router, connecting to another AC68U A1/B1, which is configured as a aimesh node, through cat5e cable (detects 1GB connection) with roaming assistant disabled. My mobile users usually connect to the node daily but got disconnected & re-associated several...

    Asus RT-AC68 offered 3.0.0.4.384_45708

Tested for 3 days, aimesh disconnection issue seems fixed, but SQUASHFS is really annoying.
