    Asus AiMesh - AND Mess...

Finally: AC1750 RT-AC66U B1* and RT-AC1750 B1* are now in the official AiMesh support list from Asus: https://www.asus.com/AiMesh/ (No explanation why there is a * after this model. And are they not the same routers, only with two marketing names?) With the New firmware released 2018/07/06...

    Asus AiMesh - AND Mess...

I am a ”semi-professional” Asus user. I have been using Asus routers for more than 5 years; I have +10 various Asus routers. In a large two floor flat with thick concrete floor and lost of brick walls, I was using one AC66U A1. It covered most of the first floor and parts of the second floor...

    ASUS RT-AC66U B1 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.10007

As mentioned before in this thread, I have a AC86U, a AC68U and a AC66U_b1. I have now upgraded all to 3.0.0.4.384_20942. AC86U and AC68U can connect to each other, both with AC86U as router and AC68U as node, or the other way around. But in both ways, I cannot connect AC66U_B1. And I am...

    ASUS RT-AC66U B1 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.10007

What (or who) is silly…? There are two issues: Technical AC66U-A1 and AC66U-B1 are two completely different routers technically. (And physical: B1 has antennas that cannot be removed, one USB in the front and one in the back, A1 has antennas that can be removed and two USB in the back.) Inside...

    ASUS RT-AC66U B1 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.10007

AC66U-B1 and A1 are two completely different routers: ASUS RT-AC66U B1 H/W Ver.:B1 - BCM4708C0 (@1.0GHz Dual Core) Has one front USB3 port, one USB2 back ports, Zentel flash (NAND). ASUS RT-AC66U A1 - BCM4706 (@600MHz Single Core), two USB2 back ports I connected an B1 as node to an AC68U as a...

How many IP cameras can Ubiquiti Nano Station Loco M5 handle?

All Ubiquiti M-series equipment has 100 Mbps network cards, so that is their maximum capasity. You will in addition loose a bit because of the radio, so around 80 Mbps data traffic is possible. The ip-cameras will need from 1-5 Mbps - depending on the video quality of the cameras. One Loco...
