    I'm only using CakeQOS and scMerlin scripts with no swap file in use so can't comment on the effect of using USB 2.0 . Maybe only change USB setting as a last resort if nothing else has worked?

    Thanks for the suggestion but I had tried preamble set to long initially, thinking along the same lines as you but it didn't appear to help.     Downgrading to 384.19 seems to be a fix for some people, I was unable to test this as 384.19 was never available for the AX56U. I have changed USB mode to USB 2.0 (Administration/System tab), beware this change invokes a complete router reboot and these are my 2.4 GHz wireless settings...

    After applying the V2.2.2 update from the WebUI I've ended up with two entries For scMerlin. If I now run the uninstaller I'm left with this view, the page url is http://192.168.0.1/user3.asp and is missing the WebUI Addons section. Reinstalling gets me back to the same two entries again...

    It's not just releasing the GPL code that Asus have fallen behind on; the RT-AX56U does not even have a user guide available more than 6 months after launch, just a quick start guide.

    Ah ok, thanks for clarifying. The output of cat /sys/module/sch_htb/parameters/htb_rate_est returns '0' with no changes made to the default htb scheduler so maybe Adaptive QOS is also broken on the RT-AX56U .

    @L&LD Certainly did, several times throughout the course of the day. Maybe not user error after all? :)
