    WiFi Deauth Deauthenticated Issue

What is the status of the Deauthenticated WiFi issue? Does it have a solution with Merlin? This seems to still be an issue with the latest Asus firmware on a RT-AC68U. Is there a settings change recommdation? Some devices get kicked off WiFi and some are IoT devices that then never reconnect...

AC68U - Unable to do WAN USB Tethering with Android phone on AT&T

Well I've now tried it with cable modem on WAN and it still doesn't work. I wonder if there is s firmware bug when you select "Android phone" because it keeps saying "USB modem" as connection type:

AC68U - Unable to do WAN USB Tethering with Android phone on AT&T

Thank you for the tip on John's firmware. I might give it a go. The other solution I found is to use two routers. I have the main router and then set a secondary router as a wireless bridge. The wireless bridge gets connected via Ethernet to the main router into what I configured as a 2nd WAN...

Would like to split smart home devices on a separate network

MoonPie2000, Putting devices on 2.4 or 5 GHz isn't really separating the devices on the network. You still end up on the same network regardless of how it got on the network (2.4 or 5). What you are referring to has to do with the initial pairing process as some devices don't have 5 GHz...

Would like to split smart home devices on a separate network

Just what problem do you think you are solving by putting IoT devices on a separate Guest WiFi? They will still phone home. I think you are just causing issues by removing yourself form directly accessing them from your LAN....meaning you'd have to join that Guest WiFi to control them....and...

AC68U - Unable to do WAN USB Tethering with Android phone on AT&T

It just seems to me that one of the most popular and flagship phones of its time that is only about 2 years old would not be supported (Samsung Galaxy S8). Works just fine when plugging into Windows PC via USB. If Asus has this "Android Phone" USB tethering support then just what phones would...

AC68U - Unable to do WAN USB Tethering with Android phone on AT&T

Why would I click on '1' link? That is for 3G/4G adapter compatibility. We are trying to troubleshoot an Android phone not a USB modem which would mean '3' link. I'm trying to get list of supported Android phones and I can't.

AC68U - Unable to do WAN USB Tethering with Android phone on AT&T

Octopus, This page link below (which I can see just fine) offers no list of supported phones: https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1030649/ https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1030649/

If anyone else can open that link can you copy and past the contents to see the list of supported phones?

AC68U - Unable to do WAN USB Tethering with Android phone on AT&T

No there is no pop-up suppression. It opens a new tab just fine and just shows this (I thought it might be Pi-hole issue so I disabled and still doesn't work.):

The problem is when I get to #3 depicted in my screenshot doesn't produce a list of supported phone devices.
