No I had just gone through that pain with the previous firmware, and do not expect that to be the answer with each iteration. Its not always simple and get that when asus advised a omplete reset which is not the case here...I've updated with no problem the aimeshed xt12s and thats fine but will...
LOl...very good question....Speed to used to convince me I'm getting goof value out of the Routers and they are working correctly - otherwise correct no direct need as I'm using laptop and Desktop for hardcore download and general use...its the principle of the thing lol
Installed 37012...and lost perfomace with iphone 17 pro max and ipad pro m4 av at 600-999mb previously c. 1600mb restored back to 37000 and back to normal...:(

I feel your pain and was in the same sitauation...well still am dto a certain degree but I am also using my 2xXT12 in AImesh along with the 2nd BQ16...it is getting pregressively better and currently i have the system running sweet ...but ASUS are releasing or have released via WebGui a firmware...
Hello all....
Well just an update ...been recently plagued with "kernel: Can't add zero mac!" and been trying to understand / problem solve but as yet still flapping in there with no obvious cause.
I bit the bullet and reset my system for this firmware by removing AIMesh nodes two XT12 nodes...
Lol…don’t be put off by me but 2 things bugged me… connection via web page was three step with warnings about https cert which i failed to resolve and the lan port on my qnap was setting off my bq16 say that port had 200 odd connections….restored back and could breathe….prob good to update but i...
I've took the plunge and installed without doing a reset ... all good except opening up router interface i now get stuff about certificates and download and install but he lnk on the ASUS page saying download certificate - is a blank file so no luck
Nahh...reverted to prior firmware--BQ16...
Great for updates but not "Important: After installing this firmware, we strongly recommend performing a factory-default reset to activate every new security adjustment."
Can I update firmware without a full system reset - its taken ages to get the system running smooth and this throws it all...
I'm on the new BQ16 updated firmware (no one has mentioned this or announced!! everyone favours the US Pro variant lol) so far no noticable issues across setup.
Current Version : 3.0.0.6.102_36934

Apologies if this has been clearly posted and labelled, but dismally failed to find it.
Is there a goto help page that can help me understand all the lines in a System log i.e. this means that, This is ok and standard - you should be concerned if this appears etc?
Thanks

Indie - excact same route for me - although I'm also using my XT12s in the Mesh and left all bands default as one (No MLO and Wifi7 off) wifi c.1529Mbps on iPhone16PM via speedtest and similar in other rooms. Used to have issues with Apple devices remaining connected but couldn't access...
Again no issues, with x2 BQ16s 1 master and 1 AiMesh wired backhaul, now going for adding XT12 in AiMesh wireless node. Will be looking to see if this upsets the current balance and working then see how that performs from the shed (supporting wifi in the garden)
I'm also back in AiMesh Mode (BQ16s) only 2.5 days though but so far so good, I've held off adding my XT8's into the mix until I have at least a week on no issues, but so far so good.
