Was super happy with a pair of XT12 that had no issues and were super stable and fast.
Bought a pair of BQ16 BE25000 (because of some new devices that came with Wifi7) back in July and immediately had issues with legacy devices (IoT, vacuum cleaner, automation, even Ring Chimes).
After 3 months of Asus support assistance, going through 2 beta firmwares, dozens of syslogs sent, many parameter changes, the problems are still unresolved and Asus is now telling me, after the latest firmware upgrade, they don't see an issue. Meaning they gave up.
Very very disappointed with Asus. They launched a very expensive product that was clearly not ready and now refuse to fix it.
I have WIFI7 disabled everywhere, MLO disabled and a dedicated IoT SSID. In the dedicated SSID devices lose connectivity after a couple hours, if I move them to the main SSID same thing happens (except for the Ring Chimes that work perfectly in the main SSID). The devices stay disconnected forever, until I do an Apply on any SSID (just go to the SSID and hit Apply), after this the configuration is reloaded and all devices are connected again.
Do not recommend BQ16 if you have legacy devices. I'm moving back to the XT12.
