    MoCA 2.0 Actiontech ECB6000

Thanks. Must have missed that one. They are on order, but seem to be backordered at Amazon :( Hope it doesn't take too long.

    MoCA 2.0 Actiontech ECB6000

My parents are getting me a 2 pack of ECB6200 for Christmas. I have seen conflicting reports about whether they will be full speed between each other when there are ECB2500 in the system. Any definitive reports on this yet?

Home network setup (2 ASUS RT-AC66U routers)

Set AP to 192.168.1.2 and turn off DHCP on it. Change DHCP range on primary router to not include 192.168.1.2 -- something like 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.255

    Wifi advice

He is running Tomato on the WRT54G. All he needs to do is click a button in the firmware and the WAN port will become a LAN port. He will actually have 4 extra wired ports, and no need to cover WAN port with tape as it will be mapped as a LAN port. OP, I would set up the new router first and...

    Wireless/Wired Buying Advice

Actually, I am pretty sure they offer 1Gbps up and down for like 50 bucks a month or some other ridiculously good deal. I seriously considered moving there just for the internet haha.

2GHz splitters, anyone have a good brand and source at a reasonable price?

That part number says it only goes to 1500, not 2k.

Need Advice on Splitting Coax at Router

If you put the STB on the far side of the MoCa device, then the STB does not receive any program guide info.

Need Advice on Splitting Coax at Router

Also, it looks like it is a huge pain in the rear to get to the admin page. Have to install a special program, change a setting on the Actiontec unit, and be connected directly to the unit via ethernet to get to it. Would rather just buy a high frequency splitter and not have to worry about it...

Need Advice on Splitting Coax at Router

I was mostly just wondering if I was going to need an amplified splitter or not. I actually set everything up today and used the splitter built into the Actiontec unit to connect to the TV and everything appears to be working fine, but that is without using a STB. I am planning on adding a STB...

Need Advice on Splitting Coax at Router

In my office I have a 2-way splitter, one out going to a Motorola SB6120 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 eXtreme Broadband Cable Modem and the other out going to an Actiontec MOCA adapter. I would like to add a TV in the office. What will be the best way to split the outlet coming into the office three...

About to give up on EOP, any ideas?

+1 to Moca. They are great. Set it and forget it.

    Considering MOCA

Just wanted to update that I bought 4 of the Actiontec adapters and they work great. Split the cable at each of my 3 TVs as well as at the modem with a splitter, no interference with cable box or multi-room DVR. I thought I was going to have to change all the splitters the cable company had used...

    Considering MOCA

I think I'm going to give it a shot. What retailer probably has the best return policy in case it doesn't work out, probably Amazon?

    Considering MOCA

Hi, I'm considering MOCA because wireless isn't working in some areas of my house very well and I was told running ethernet in my house was not very feasible. I have a couple of questions: 1. Will it interfere with my whole house DVRs from Charter? 2. I have 100 Mbps internet. How much will...
