End of year 2017 development update

Thanks for everything you do for us RMerlin! I'm still running 376.49.4 on my AC66 and it does everything I need flawlessly. I'm looking for an AC68 now to replace an older Linksys E3200. Because of the cooperation between Asus and you I won't consider any other brand.

Norton filter on guest network only

I just had another look and the easiest way seems to be mac address filtering of her device. I'd still like to make the entire guest network connect safe.

    replacement for E3000? RT-AC66U vs RT-AC68U

Not actual comparisons but the distance covered guesstimated at 20 feet for the E3200 and 15 feel for the ac66. The number and thickness of the walls virtually identical. If i get a chance this weekend I'll switch the 2 routers and send the new stats from the pi

    replacement for E3000? RT-AC66U vs RT-AC68U

I had a similar problem and similar equipment, the E3200. Since I already had cat6 cabling from the basement to the second floor I decided to get an AC66U for the basement (internet in) and move the E3200 upstairs. It's been a great combo that's worked flawlessly for some time. I'm sure it's...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 is out

Thanks for the great idea. Since I had already read the changelog and didn't / don't know what more than 1/2 of it means I'll just leave things as they are.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 is out

Thanks RMerlin for this great firmware. I'm using 374.35_2 and my AC66 is running in AP mode upstairs. I have a Linksys (Cisco) E3200 as primary in the basement where the modem is located. The network has never run better with 2.4n and 5ac upstairs and 2.4g in the basement (5 disabled). Is...
