My question is; does this modified ASUS router support Merlin?
Does this build fixes Comcast IPv6 spamming with neighbour solicitation packets? I know Asuswrt-Merlin (374.41) has a ip6tables to combat this problem.

With TX Bursting enabled - it was worse. 61 Mbps instead > 80 Mbps. I'm going to keep it turned off.

Do I need to change anything in my wireless properties? I hate the lack of options in this wifi card

This is a known fact.
My other two HP laptops are connected to the 5GHz 40MHz getting full 121/23Mbps. So no problems...

Using inSSIDer 3.1.2.1, I'm the only one on my channel (8) and not overlapping anyone else. With 40MHz, inSSIDer is displaying my network is on (8 & 12)
