    Well, it looked like it was working and but it wasn't copying anything. I think it's either cause there's too many subfolders, only copies what's new and not already in the folder, doesn't copy stuff in subfolders, or it's just not working. Either way, guess I'll be getting another NAS...

    Thanks. Turned on brute force protection - didn't realize there was that option. Used better password too. Going to have to skip RSA keys as I'm not advanced enough to know how to do that but I think I'm satisfied enough with security now.

    THANK YOU RMerlin for your platforms. I have no idea why asus doesn't add hard disk spin down to their routers themselves - especially with all their "aicloud" stuff they promote. I'm very thankful for all your add-ons.

    It sounds like your cheap router is working fine for you so why would you buy a more expensive router? You should buy a router based on your needs. If you don't need a fancy router, don't buy it.
