I understand that privacy will be relative. My question wasn't about "how much" privacy but rather if DoT was as private as a VPN. Truthfully, I'd rather just use DoT as I have higher performance.

Changing to channel 11 seems to have corrected the issue. It's just weird that it didn't happen until after updating to the newer Merlin firmware.

I continue to experience awful wifi performance even after upgrading to the latest (I am currently on 386.2_4). The last good firmware where I wasn't experiencing these issues was prior to 386.x. So now I am looking to flash back to 384.19. Is there a special process for that?
