    Ditching UniFi for consumer gear is a bit crazy. I just did the opposite. Cloud key + USG Pro + 24 poe switch + ac shd + in Wall Pro. Can’t imagine doing gigabit internet any other way....unless the USG-XG is ever available again.

    I tried to switch away from the R9000 based on all the nice features of the RT2600ac from Synology. Unfortunately the Synology doesn’t pick up my native IPv6 like the Netgear, it’s 5ghz WiFi is erratic, and the R9000 with Voxels firmware just crushes it in speed overall.

    AD is a waste. This router is a faster version of the r7800. If you need more power than the 7800, this is a great AC2600 router. If only it has the Synology UI....

    Got the Synology - this is a damn nice router. Wifi speeds and Lan speeds are = to my R9000. Not surprised there. Again, ipv6 issues. Can't grab an ipv6 address via DHCP. Shows up as limited connection when I put the details in manually. Very disappointing. Seems Netgear is the only one...
