This is an ignorant question, but do I need FlexQoS if I upgrade my speeds to 1.2 Gbps down / 35 Mbps Up ? I may upgrade to comcast (xfinity) gigabit speeds. I'll be using a CM2000 modem with my RT-AX86U router.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to adjust the limits and add the ack-filter option. If it still doesn't work properly, I'll try messing with FlexQoS again.

Just noticed when using Cake, if I download from STEAM while using Teamspeak, the entire teamspeak lags. Since I host the teamspeak 3 server on a spare pc on the same network, apparently it saturates the network so much that everyone lags and they all say they hear "robotic" voices from the lag...

How do you get 25 up on comcast, with 400 down? The plans here are 400/10, then something like 600/25, 950/50.

Sorry for my lack of thoroughness. Can't believe I missed that, but I appreciate your insight. For FlexQoS, what do you set your upload to? Because when I use FlexQoS, I get really bad bufferbloat/latency on the upload. Thanks again for the help.

For me the problem is FlexQoS has super high latency/bufferbloat on the upload. When using CakeQoS, it's the opposite. I have bad bloat on the download, but almost none on the upload.

Does CakeQoS have a cap? I have 400/10 from my ISP (comcast), and when I set my download limit to 390 in CakeQoS, I only get 200 down on speed tests and dslresports bufferbloat test.

Update: After uninstalling the normal CakeQoS, and installing the Alpha build( found HERE ), my bufferbloat on the download has gotten a little better. But maybe this is due to the instability of the site (dslreports). I am still confused as to why my download speed is cut in half when using...

Ok. But I think there's no actual way to disable this feature, correct? When I click the "Game" tab, it shows the Gear Accelerator {Game Device Prioritizing} slider to ON. If I move the slider to OFF, it turns off QoS completely. That's weird that your unit is much lower than mine. I checked...
