Ax58u upload limiting not working. Everything else fine.

I find any adaptive qos, cake, pie, fq_codel all take that time to kick in. You will always get a ping fluctuations. This jitter is more important than priority. Keeping the line always stable with no bufferbloat. Try it. See if you like it until at least adaptive qos is fixed, because it's broken.

This might of been asked before, but why isn't cake available for all Asus routers? If the ax88u works, why not the ax58u?

3 heavy streamers and 2 gamers. 75/15 internet. Qos is a definite priority.

Can anyone confirm this actually works on the ax58u? As far as limiting upload and download speeds properly to combat bufferbloat? Be a lot of work to change everything back over to merlin, just to find out still doesn't work.

Rmerlin doesn't have the latest gpl for this router. I hope when he does get it, it fixed the qos problem. The bandwidth limiter and traditional qos work fine. Just adaptive qos will not limit bandwidth, so bufferbloat is crazy. Everything else about this router is 100% perfect.

Flash over from the gui is fine. Just make sure to factory reset and don't use a back up file to setup. Do everything manually.
