Might be a stupid question but will these models ever graduate to 3006?

I did a remote dirty upgrade :rolleyes: on my AX11000 and it went smoothly. Nodes come up very fast now!

If you're only using them as nodes use the official Asus FW

...Or beta 4. I get random timeouts every 15-20 seconds that last 15-20 seconds and sometimes up to a minute, and nothing seen in the logs except for Trend Micro stuff. Anyone seen anything like this before?

Yeah, I have it on my nodes too without issue. Gnuton's borked them for some reason.

Thanks, I didn't know that, but that doesn't explain the AX92Us. In any event, I just set everything to auto and everything's fine.

I recently did a hard reset of my AX11000 and when trying to find the best channel for 5G-1 I noticed only the router changes, not the nodes. This is according to the Wifi Analyzer app. In the pic below I selected channel 64 but all the other nodes are probably still set to auto on 36 and 40.

Don't worry, I did the same thing but in reverse; AXE firmware to AX, etc.

First "invalid firmware" on my AX11000. Out of curiosity, I successfully installed the lastest stock firmware, then successfully went back and re-installed 386.4, but still no on 386.5 from there... Guess I'll factory reset tomorrow. Feck

Are "dirty" upgrades acceptable for nodes?
