    Can't Login to GUI

I've had to leave this firmware due to this bug which I've experienced for more than 6 months on various builds. I flashed back to stock, moved the routing functions to an OPNsense box and I'm using the router as a Wireless AP only. It's a shame, I've enjoyed using this firmware for many years.

    Can't Login to GUI

The stock Asus firmware is missing some functionality that I need unfortunately.

    Can't Login to GUI

Sorry I think I used the wrong term. It's my main wireless router. I do have an identical 68u that I run as a media Bridge and the issue doesn't appear on that device.

AC68U Web UI Crashes, then internet goes down shortly after

Thanks for the tip, I added my story to that thread as well. I hope the developer can find and resolve the issue.

    Can't Login to GUI

I too am experiencing this issue for months over multiple Merlin builds on my 68u. Mine adds in the nice variable of the entire router crashing serveral hours after the webui crashes. Once the webui crashes, I also have no more syslogs written. I think that this shows that it's more than just...

AC68U Web UI Crashes, then internet goes down shortly after

I had to reboot the router and login via the UI because ssh wasn't turned on. When I rebooted this was the size for those. My traffic logs are going to a USB thumb drive, so I shouldn't be filling up either space. I tried the router UI from various browsers and devices before determining it was...

AC68U Web UI Crashes, then internet goes down shortly after

Unfortunately, it looks like I got excited that it was resolved too quickly. It's been up a little over a week and the webui just crashed again. The whole router hasn't crashed yet, waiting to see if that comes next.

AC68U Web UI Crashes, then internet goes down shortly after

Thank you so much for your suggestion. It took me awhile to get around to resetting and reconfiguring the router. But when I did it completely resolved the issue. It's now back to being rock solid, reliable running. The VPN server is actually providing slightly higher speeds. There must have...

AC68U Web UI Crashes, then internet goes down shortly after

Which version of Merlin’s firmware are you running? 384.16 is when it last crashed, just updated to 384.17 moments ago. I'm pretty sure they were al 384.xx When did you install it? I've had Merlin installed since the day I bought the router, I bought this one about a year ago. Which...

AC68U Web UI Crashes, then internet goes down shortly after

I've had a problem for a few months over multiple versions on my ac68u randomly I'll try to go to the webui and it either won't come up at all or I'll try to login and the UI will fail to come up. a few hours later the internet will go down, wired and wireless and I'll have to reboot the router...

    Isolate VPN client machines?

Thanks so much guys, it's a smart TV connected via WiFi. I already have a guest Network setup like that for random people in my home. Never occurred to me, such a simple solution. And thanks RMerlin for the awesome firmware I've been using it since I got my ac68u. It's Rick solid and has great...

    Isolate VPN client machines?

I have a openvpn client configured and I enable devices using policy based routing. Is it possible too isolate those machines from the rest of my lan, so they don't see the machines not connected to the VPN?
