    HP DV6-3033cl weak WiFi signal

    Hi, So I just refurbish a HP DV6-3033cl laptop. The WiFi signal is nowhere near as good as my Dell Vostro 1000. Now the HP has a metal cover and I was wondering if it was interfearing with the signal. Can I replace the antenna with a better gauge? The HP has a Broadcom 4313 bgn wlan. Thanks

    Hi, I have a Netgear WPN824 v3 (MIMO) and a WG311T card. I am getting between 2 to 3 bars. inSSIDer RSSI = -71 to -78. Would switching to the WPN311 (MIMO) card increase signal? I have no other MIMO device in the house. I am going through a closet, kitchen and a bathroom. Around 80 ft. What...
