On TMobile only passthru seems to work, but the devices on lan have issues with some sites / apps not connecting. I tried Native, disable PD, disable the router advertisements... I'm at a loss.
Devices have issues with apps/sites due to the IPV4 problem...
I'm trying to use tailscale with a...
I have an inseego FW2000 CPE and my router needs the wan side IPV6 turned on via the router's GUI to work. But I have devices that are having issues accessing some apps/websites with it turned on... on the PC I'm able to disable the IPV6 in the adapter settings and these sites work. So figuring...
I'm thinking of getting a newer Asus router with HND support. My only concern is, if the main router is setup to 'full cone' nat type option, will the AiMesh Nodes have to be HND routers as well or can I put the RT-AC5300 and older RT-AC68U (not the v4 model) as nodes without messing up the hard...
I don't have full cone as option... the only option for the NAT is to turn nat on or off.. I copied and pasted the Wan tab options under internet connections.. I'm not on console.. dual pc.. no static ip configured on pc..ip reserved on router side and I have to have it that way for software I...
I'm having a similar issue with two pc's on COD... Running latest firmware for the RT-AC5300 from merlin, I don't even have the full cone option for nat / upnp type. Only options I have in that section of the WAN Page is.

I have 2 alienware desktops, running on a rt-ac5300 Asus with 386.7_2 firmware. Up until recently my son and I could play COD at the same time without problems.. Both PC's have always been on a reserved IP address.
UPNP is active, there's no upnp option to select full cone as I've read for...
Sorry to revive this old thread but I'm literally pulling my hair out.. I've not had major issues with COD connecting in a months with the occasional router / pc full power cycle..
Now with no warning one of my alienware gaming desktops (both are hard wired) is having issues connecting with...
I have two PCs' and 2 PS4 consoles in my lan. Usually two pc's are in use at any given time. Call Of Duty Cold War is giving me so much grief I wish I could get a refund.
On any of my devices, after initiating / applying the game profile in open nat to all lan side gaming devices, the game...
Yea, shame.. Cause other than that I love the Merlinwrt branded asus firmware... The flexibility of AiMesh makes Asus my #1 recommended router to my clients. I've been buying up the ac68u models on ebay for years for nodes and either the 5300/86/88 as main routers depending on the number of...
That sucks., I don't think it would work anyway, because AiMesh requires a reset before it can be activated as a node.. I would really love to modify the firmrware itself to switch it in the flash itself... so lan 4 would become wan and wan would become the lan 4 port. I realize I would have to...
I have an RT-AC68U that I used as a AiMesh node. I recently experienced that the wan port is not working any longer. I used it for the AiMesh backhaul. Is there anyway to switch the AiMesh backhaul to Lan1 instead of Wan?
Did you happen to implement John's TTL fix in your official router updates? I'm just wondering. I have 3 to program right now and I'd rather not do telnet commands if the gui has been fixed.
