    Please excuse my poor wording of the question: If the Asus AX88U is the satellite node, with the Asus AC88U as the primary node, will there be wifi6? or will the AX88U only operate in wifi5 mode?

    Asuswrt-Merlin 384.8 is now available

    There seems to be a problem with generating the OpenVPN file. No export button appears, after I press the APPLY button.

    Yes, it does have 8 LAN ports. However, why does it say 88U?

    AC3100: After Factory Reset, How do I get back in?

    Yes, I tried that. Any other tricks? The fact that it shows up as 169.254.x.x means that it's not getting an IP from the router. No DHCP. Therefore no gateway, no 192.168.1.1. I've tried flashing the router twice, once with Merlin and once with Asus. Same problem.

    AC3100: After Factory Reset, How do I get back in?

    I have done the factory reset for the ASUS AC3100, several times. I have tried the 30/30/30 method, and I have tried the WPS method. After that, I get the power led, the wifi led, the internet led (red because I haven't attached a modem), and the wan led. I also get on my adapater a IP4 address...

    RT-AC3100 Firmware.

    So, I did a factory reset via the WPS button as described above. However, I can't sign into the router now, and the red status light for internet is on. Suggestions?

    Hello. A real novice here. Question: I have a 3100U, with the 88U firmware on it. Should I do a complete reset (as described above) to put the correct firmware on it, or should I just continue to use it as is? (It seems to be working fine.)
