    Asus AIMesh Guest network issues

It does all work for me running latest offical Asus firmware on my setup with guest network 1, access to intranet set to disabled. That's also good to hear it works with Merlin firmware as well. I can't test Merlin firmware as it's not supported on Asus XT8. I am running all hard cabled...

    Asus AIMesh Guest network issues

@HKcow I would make sure you are running current Asus official firmware. Then I would try connecting the Aimesh Node to the Aimesh Primary Router directly without using your QNAP switch at all. So that should be the WAN port of your Aimesh Node to a LAN port on your Aimesh Primary Router. Then...

So I finally have a working configuration this is based on completely 100% ethernet backhaul and using: Asus XT8, running 3.0.0.4.386.46061 - Primary Router Asus XD4, running 3.0.0.4.386.46061 - Aimesh Node 1 and 2 Asus RT-AC86U, running 3.0.0.4.386.45956 - Aimesh Node 3 All the Aimesh nodes...

    Asus AIMesh Guest network issues

I was having issue with this and still have issues. I am running with a guest network 1 on 2.4G radio and access intranet set to disable. Running an XT8 as main router with 3.0.0.4.386.46061 and three Aimesh nodes. I have 2 XT4 nodes also running 3.0.0.4.386.46061 and finally an RT-AC86U...

    Wifi 6 802.11ax, 80+80, 160MHz, non-contiguous / discontiguous channel routers

I found this from Broadcom website, interesting: "Spectrum Math: 80 MHz + 80 MHz ≠ 160 MHz Wi-Fi gurus may ask: Why not bond two discontiguous 80 MHz channels together? This would give network designers five 80 MHz channels in the 5 GHz band to work with in the U.S., including two without DFS...

    Wifi 6 802.11ax, 80+80, 160MHz, non-contiguous / discontiguous channel routers

I can see some of the Netgear seem to allow a 80+80 using the 32-48 and 52-64 channels. But I don't seen any device which allow the use of 52-64 and 101-112. Or 52-64 and 116-128.

    Wifi 6 802.11ax, 80+80, 160MHz, non-contiguous / discontiguous channel routers

It looks like the common implementation of 160MHz channels use 1 contiguous block of 8 channels in total so, DFS channels 101-128 = 160MHz channel bandwidth. There are some routers that seem to also to provide 160MHz channels in the lower frequencies by using 2 non-contiguous blocks of 80MHz...

    Asus XT8 (AX6600) 160MHz Client Channel Provision

Thanks @L&LD for your reply. Since applying the latest released firmware 3.0.0.4.386_41793, I have had the router up and running for a couple of days to settle and never notice it ever set the 5.2GHz-2 radio to 160MHz channel width. I have seen quite a few posts on SNB about 160Hz radio...

    Asus XT8 (AX6600) 160MHz Client Channel Provision

Hi I have an Asus XT8 (AX6600) acting as a single unit router (no mesh) and wifi hotspot for my house running 3.0.0.4.386_41793 firmware. I have all aspects provisioned and working perfectly except the 5GHz-2 160MHz channel option. When I set the 5GHz-2 radio to 160MHz width or auto...
