Upgraded AP RT-AC68 from 386.9 to 386.10 and my main router (same model) rebooted and reset to default. Both were running 386.9 prior.

The hotfix allowed me to do a full uninstall and reinstall. Fixed the issue.... Keith

Do not recall the exact version that I flashed, but currently running the most recent Merlin. Everything else is working find, but vnStats.

Need help. Accidently flashed the ASUS firmware and reflashed Melin and ever since VNstats does not work. If I uninstall I get an error message and if I update of UF i get error messages and still does not work. What files / directories do i need to remove to manually delete VN stats so...

Step 1) Upgrade to Merlin Step 2) Install SPDMerlin. Done...

I would setup the 68 to the point that you can reset to default from the menu, and try again. I think you can also reset to default my holding the reboot button for about 15 seconds.

I am sorry if my first post was taken as rude. It was just an opinion on the current state of the Merlin package, that Merlin basically agreed that is the case. There is just not a lot that can be added to the core software of most software out there today.

No offense Merlin, but software / firmware development and new releases are boring nowadays. Most software is so mature and feature rich that there are rarely stuff to get excited about. The QR codes are neat but boring. No offense Merlin, your software is great. I cannot think of the last...

The problem is that we are now being trained that release notes / change logs are not needed or available for end users. Outside of this software/firmware, what was the last software you installed / updated that had an readme / changelog / release notes that said anything but "fixed some issues"

I have always liked the Brother Printers. Not sure which one has the features that you need, but I would would start at the Brothers Printers....

What type of router? Can you connect the laptop directly to the router? How far are the computer / laptop to the router? Post a picture of the site survey showing nearby wifi networks (from the router)
