    Based on the testing that I did with Asus ac3200, Asus 88u, Asus 3100, R8500, and ac5300, the ac5300 chipset provides significantly greater range on the 5ghz band when compared to ac3200, R8000, and 88u. This is in my test environment.

    Hi Tim, R8000 has a 1ghz processor and not 1.4ghz as written in your chart. How soon will you have the review or updated numbers for the Asus 88 because I need to know if I need to cancel my order or if it was just the firmware that made the router look bad?

    New FW 3.0.0.4.220 is out

    It looks like some devices are having trouble connecting on channel 11 in 20mhz mode. The issue was resolved by moving to channel 1. Can anyone tell me why? I am assuming it is an issue in the new firmware since I did not have any problems before the update. Asus, please fully test your products...

    AC66u and Android Problems

    This has happened to me using these routers. Afer a reboot of the Asus router and the device, the issue was resolved for me. Try deleting the wireless profile on the android device and putting it back on the network. I was not able to resolve the issue when using the Netgear.

    3.0.0.4.188 for Asus RT-AC66u is Out

    Asus has posted 3.0.0.4.188 firmware for the Asus Rt-AC66u. Anyone installed it yet and can tell me what the optimal settings are to get the most power out of the TX controls? It looks like Asus implemented them slightly differently. Any first impressions of the new firmware?
