    RT-AX92U still on 3.0.0.4.386.46061 since januari '22. Did Asus really stopped supporting this model ?

    Looks like it is EOL now. Strange decision as it is still sold at premium prices here in Norway! https://www.asus.com/event/network/EOL-product/

    portsLinkStaus=0 after ac88u 3.0.0.4.385_20585 update

    Strangest thing is that there now is a new FW 20630, but the forgotten debugging output is still there...

    RT-AC88U + Lyra Mini AiMesh

    - Nowadays i have two Lyra mini pucks as Aimesh nodes to my RT-AC88U. - Try resetting the lyras, then add them one-by-one via your 5300"s settingspage. Shouldnt be necessary to tinkle with the lyras settings at all.

    [Official Beta release] Lyra series AiMesh beta support

    - I've tried with one RT-AC88U on firmware 3.0.0.4.384.45149 and three Lyra-minis on firmware 3.0.0.4_384_45152. - Ethernet backhaul like this: 88U LAN port to Lyra1 second port. Lyra1 First port to dumbswitch. Dumbswitch to second port on Lyra2 and Lyra3. Works fine for maybe 5-6 days, then...

    RT-AC87U with Lyra or Lyra mini

    Yes, you can setup Lyra network as AP mode, connected to your 87U's LAN. Roaming will work well between lyra nodes. However roaming between Lyra nodes and 87u will be as with any other individual wifi-AP. Your mileage may vary, but in my experience it isn't THAT bad. It depends on the clients...

    RT-AC88U + Lyra Mini AiMesh

    I followed this guide, and it worked: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1038071/# And after the setup I connected them all to ethernet backhaul: WAN - ISP modem - RTAC88U in AP mode - Lyramini (port2) - Then port1 on Lyramini1 to a 16-port unmanaged switch - Then connected port2 on Lyramini2 and...

    RT-AC88U + Lyra Mini AiMesh

    Now you can! The latest firmware for Lyra Mini, lets you set them up as nodes. I"ve done it. Seems to work well.

    The rmerlin donation thread.

    - A donation from Norway for the excellent work! - My RT-AC88U got (more than usual) warm, unstable and boggy with stock ASUS fw 3.0.0.4.382.15850, as well as the infamous everlasting "Internet Status - Check connection" and useless renaming of router clients, not rendering the renaming in...

    RT-AC88U

    Realizing that my RT-AC88U's top chassis was starting to "crack" and the unit seemed hot, I bought a cheap USB laptop cooler from Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/142505148605 It's almost noiseless and requires no tampering/installation, running on power from my USB 2.0 port. Before: CPU: 85c -...
