I recently moved from a detached house to and apartment and the congestion here is nuts. Only 5m away from the router and my pixel 7 struggles to hold a connection on the 2.4 or 5ghz bands. Larger devices seem to be ok but I mostly just my phone these days. What do you recommend as a cheap...

Is there a way to prioritize a VPN connection started from a client? I have this problem where i use VPN on a PC to watch video, but it basically kills my internet connection on other computers. I'd like to be able to do WEB>VPN, and so on.

Does skynet disable aiprotection? I just installed skynet and found aiprotection disabled. do we need both?

i think i figured it out, though i'll never know for sure. The CPU was at 100% even after factory reset, I probably just needed to let it cool down for a bit. reinstalled merlin and idle temp is at 68C which seems OK. what brought the CPU to 100%... no idea:confused:

didn't change the SSID name (it was simple anyway) but I did change the password to something simple with letters only. and made absolutely sure i typed it in. even "forgot" the SSIDs on adroid and reentered them. extremely weird.

not as far as i know. but apparently the new absolution will come with a command to shut it down. directly without going into the menu. ./absolution.sh disable you could use a mobile client with a script that runs that from a widget. also probably best to check the log, on what is blocking...

Hi All. I've been running merlin for a looooong time on my ac68u. Did some re-cabling, and shut down the router. after it started back up i couldn't connect to WiFi with any client. Just said wrong password. factory reset using the reset button, the option on the web ui, and the wps button...

Any idea why some websites complain about: This site can’t provide a secure connection invalid response. on a different network, it works ok... strange.
