Tried the link you just gave. Still the same result. I'm trying to speculate that the Asus Router bought in Japan has a different kind of hardware configuration or something... Now, I'm running out of options already.
Hi again, tried your suggestion.
The indicated preferred language is JP.
Although I tried your suggestion, it still opens back as Japanese. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong right now...
I downloaded putty already. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong but I put my IP "192.168.1.1" to the host name. But I still get an error message. See attached pics:
Tried that one. Still none.
I have a question, am I the only one here with missing language selection bar? Is it because I bought this router in Japan?
I'm really confused.
Hi Blinkyz, sorry for me being in-experienced but what do you mean by switching between tabs? I tried going to different parts of the Asus Router site, it's still the same.
Tried doing this, it went back to its factory settings but the language is still in Japanese and I still can't see the language menu on the top right side of the page.
Yes, I did. I also pressed the reset button for 5 seconds. But, to no avail. The entire language tab completely disappeared from the top right corner. I also tried manually updating the firmware from the official Global Asus website, but still the problem persists.
Is this normal?
