What are your thoughts on the new AI router GT-BE19000AI?

If the BE19000AI router is configured as a mesh node, then you would lose the access to the AI board. Technically the AI board has its own IP address. So it's possible to access if Asus makes some enhancements.

What are your thoughts on the new AI router GT-BE19000AI?

Last few days, I've been testing the AI board functionalities, there are several issues: 1. AI board Firmware update was not working, (Asus just fixed it, this week) 2. Unable to login to docker account, after the firmware update. Fails with "unauthorized" error. No way to reset the password...

What are your thoughts on the new AI router GT-BE19000AI?

Yeah, true. But everyone in the middle-east should be worried about getting this one ;) For now, its only supported in the USA, but the hardware can be hacked.

What are your thoughts on the new AI router GT-BE19000AI?

As for the USB3 hard drives attached, it's better to use the power add-on usb cable (USB 3.0 Dual Power Y Shape Hard Drive Cable USB) to handle the transient power requirements.

What are your thoughts on the new AI router GT-BE19000AI?

Yes I do, All my Mac minis have 10GBE builtin, PCs have Mellanox 100 Gigabit NICs and MacBook Pro using the OWC thunderbolt dock. I get 7 gbps/up/down which I posted before. I get ~9gbps throughput within LAN.

    AFC now available for BE19000AI

I know what you are referring to... We used to have that issue while ago on the AXE16000 as mesh node with the 5Ghz-2 radio SSID don't get initialized properly and arbitrarily sets-up with some random SSID name which can't be controlled. Now it still not controllable on th mesh nodes, but I...

    AFC now available for BE19000AI

On AXE16000, I can choose either 5GHz-2 or 6GHz-1 for back haul. So if the 5GHz-2 is used for backhaul then the 5GHz-1 will be used for clients. I’m using 6GHz-1 for backhaul as in the snap shot.

    AFC now available for BE19000AI

No, I don't have another wireless mesh node. All other nodes are 10GBE wired, except this GT-AXE16000. The reason for not having BE98PRO as wireless mesh node were indeed due to random disconnects every few days. So I moved BE98PRO to wired and using old AXE16000 as wireless mesh. This is...

    AFC now available for BE19000AI

The wifi signal strength also increased by 18dBm with AFC, standard power mode, when connected to wireless mesh node.

    AFC now available for BE19000AI

Try it from your cellphone using Asus router app. I had the same issue, but after toggling few times from my iPhone it started working. I'm using auto and width 320Mhz, which sets to channel 37.

    AFC now available for BE19000AI

Yes, I tried it’s working very well. It switched from low power indoor mode to standard power. I get ~2800mbps on my S24Ultra which is 600mbps more than without AFC. :)

What are your thoughts on the new AI router GT-BE19000AI?

I think the reason for the slow down is due to 6GHz radio getting turned off after few minutes the router is rebooted. It does work at full speed for the few minutes before the radio is turned off. I restored the OEM firmware and it worked fine without shutting down the 6HHz radio. I will retry...
