    Just to be clear using a VPN disables the ad blocking? In my case I have some networked clients going down a VPN using selective policy routing over OpenVpn (also using 8.8.8.8 via DNS filtering). They do get ads. In parallel I have clients not using the VPN who retain the ad blocked status.

    A combination of router reboot and switching on/off logging has made the issue go away for now. Should I have this in the hosts-adblock - 0.0.0.0 localhost Sorry if this is a silly question.

    Having a very strange issue which has been present since ab-s.v1.00. When ab-s is active my desktop network connection indicator shows no internet? But internet does exsist. I am running win10 1511 and have a Intel l218-v. This stops some Microsoft apps updating, also Windows can't go online...

    Thanks for the pointer but that doesn't seem to be it. The tomato setup referred to earlier in the thread uses 4 keys and suggests that they are included in ovpn file from Strongvpn.     Well I've got a DNS proxy service and PPTP VPN and I can't get back to US catalogue. I've tried some of the so called 'fixed' services too and nothing works. I suspect Netflix is building meta data to locate you and then profiling your account. They seem to have me pinned down pretty good...
