    thanks i understand the rog issue. but i see you did a last 3004 388 .9 rog release with the gtaxe11000 how about the same for the gtaxe16000 so we at least have roi on the last 3004 release.. thanks again.

    in my two houses my main wifi router is a gt-axe16000 now that wifi 7 is out they can be gotten for a reasonable price.. i also have a second axe11000 on the other floor in each house as a 2nd wifi with wired backhaul via moca.,

    Understanding IPTABLES - asus ROG ax6000

    BACK to the original questions... bootp etc is used for network device config. to get an ip address during boot up.. it is a different protocol than the more widely used dhcp.. so my guess would be those rules are to allow bootp to work on you network behind any firewall on your router.

    ITS really annoying not available in the us.. i want wifi 7 with dual 5ghz band to replace the gtaxe16000.. i only have two devices that even have wifi 7 (6ghz band support) so certainly dont need two of those bands aka the be98 pro..

    OVPN server setup problem

    IF you have another location that is not cgnat you can setup a full time openvpn tunnel to that location and from any machine on that network your network behind cgnat will be reachable.. i do that with one asus router on my starlink cgnat network to another on spectrum in a separate location..

    i will post it next time but i dont think it is inadyn the nvram variable (wano_realip_ip) still shows the old ip and even if i make sure that the ddns process runs it is updating it witth the old ip.

    thanks got script working but doesn't alleviate the issue. my issue is that the router itself is not updating the correct public ip when behind cgnat..(it retains the last true public ip but even when restarting ddns it is not updating to the new one) obviously it can because rebooting the...

    The Wireless 5GHz channel has dropped from 160Hz to 80Hz

    i am seeing the same issue on multiple routers gtaxe16000 and gtax1100 pro.. i have to hard code the control channels on both 5g bands to 36 and leave the 5ghz-2 band to itself.. upon reboot of the routers it immediately connects both at 160 so at that point it is obviously clear. . but then...

    dynamic cgnat ip is changing correctly with ddns custom script but shown ip in web interface never changes

    any update on this issue.. the wan0_Realip is wrong and not getting updated it has the old ip.. only way to fix it is reboot the router.. ie admin@GT-AX11000_Pro:/jffs/scripts# nvram show | grep -i 129.222 size: 123630 bytes (72978 left) wan0_realip_ip=129.222.46.39...
