    OK surfed but finally had to try the reset. Now FF gives me the 'Authentication Required' window but admin admin, as well as administrator administrator does not work. Surfing to find out what else works. Thanks again for the interest/help, Mac

But when I use terminal in Linux Mint on laptop and run ifconfig I receive command not found, 'Did you mean ifconfig from package 'net-tools' (main).
