Haven't thought about that. In fact, it might could have been some kind of an outage taking place that affected the device I have from my ISP. It's DASAN GPON ONT, model H665. I will log into the device and check its settings later.

It looks like all the issues reported in the above post were caused by an empty "WAN DNS Setting" section. It caused the NTP server sync to eventually fail, which resulted in the router reverting to its default and incorrect time and from that, this created a complete and total mess, from USB...
