[RT-AX56U] Baffling slower speed via LAN then WiFI

TCP was a good hint, thanks. I run the command netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal And speed is what I expect it to be now, reaching the same as phone over WiFi. Highest measure was 50/35, same now what I get on the Mac laptop, and the phone. Other PC started getting good speeds...

[RT-AX56U] Baffling slower speed via LAN then WiFI

When I test on the PC using WiFi, established connection is 245 Mbps. And still, it can not reach 50Mbps internet speed. The phone can. The thing is, if 4G tower has a higher load, and let's say I measure 25Mbps on the phone, both PC's will go down to 10Mpbs, so it's proportionately worse...

[RT-AX56U] Baffling slower speed via LAN then WiFI

Yeah, but it's not reaching it's 100Mbps limit. Over WiFi it's about 50 Mbps, but over LAN it's 30-35Mbps. I also mentioned that one of PC has WiFi 6, and I used 5G WiFi to speed test, and still the same slower speed. Also, if you read my post, none of the issues exist if the source router of...

[RT-AX56U] Baffling slower speed via LAN then WiFI

Hello, I have a really really strange issue. When speed testing my two PC over LAN connected to the RT-AX56U, I get slower speed then testing via phone or via Mac laptop. One of the PC also has integrated WiFi, but it's slow over it too. Here is my setup: - Huawei E5186s-22a LTE router -> WAN...

RT-AX56U fails to restore WAN after power loss

After flashing latest firmware by Asus, 3.0.0.4.384.10290, issue is fixed. But, this firmware broke the 2.4GHz wifi. After few hours, speed would just drop to 5Mbps. Hard reset with initiallize all setting didn't help. I rolled back to previous one, and wifi is fine. I might try Merlin firmware...

RT-AX56U fails to restore WAN after power loss

I really appreciate you trying to help. It would be nice to resolve the power issue, but I am currently not in position to invest in UPS. That's why I would like to find another solution which involves fixing the issue with the router. I did again the reset with the option to initialize all...

RT-AX56U fails to restore WAN after power loss

Well, power loss is an issue, but it should not affect the router this way. WAN should work after power is restored, it should not require me toggling Internet Connection switch.

RT-AX56U fails to restore WAN after power loss

Depends, sometimes short, sometimes longer. But that is something that I don't want to invest into. I already invested into this router, and I would like to solve the issue without additional investments.

RT-AX56U fails to restore WAN after power loss

That's not going to solve a problem. UPS will eventually deplete the battery and same thing will happen.

RT-AX56U fails to restore WAN after power loss

Hello everyone, I have a very strange issue with this router and it's very annoying. My setup is following: Huawei ZXHN H267N is the router I got from ISP. LAN1 is providing internet connection. Using the cable I got with Asus, I connected it to LAN1 on Huawei and to WAN on the Asus. I...
