    WZR-HP-G300NH + WHR-HP-G300N in WDS

They work in WDS together. See my post over in Gen Wirless about the WZR-HP-G300NH and WDS. Screenshots are included there. This is the guide I used. I haven't really done any tests. Performance has been adequate. EDIT: and by adequate, I mean great. Completely serves my needs.

    WZR-HP-G300NH now has WDS

As of firmware revision 1.72, the WZR-HP-G300NH has WDS support. See this post over on the Buffalo forums for confirmation. I have a WZR-HP-G300NH + WHR-HP-G300N in WDS together. You can see these screenshots for confirmation. They are screenshots of the relevant router diagnostic pages...

Netgear WNDR3700 vs DLink Dir 825

Generally speaking, 5GHz has less range due to the higher frequency used. Though, there are cases where this actually resulted in greater range.

looking router with external antenna for small ISP

In that case, any competent G router with external removable antennas should be fine. No idea on what kind of antenna to use. Have you thought about using DD-WRT at all? The How to Build an Open-Source Wi-Fi Hotpost article may be useful for you. As well as How to choose a wireless antenna

looking router with external antenna for small ISP

Will the clients be using 802.11n or 802.11g? Or a mixture of both? It's not a good idea to have use mixed mode n. See this article.

    WZR-HP-G300NH + WHR-HP-G300N in WDS

Feedback on WZR-HP-G300NH + WHR-HP-G300N in WDS I'm planning an upgrade of my wireless network to remove the HomePNA currently in use. To begin with I'll mention the current set-up: 2 Gigabit desktops in the basement, connected with ethernet 1 Cable modem in basement next to desktops 1...

    Need expert advice purchasing router!

Are any of distances through any walls? concrete walls? Just about any competent N wireless router will be good enough for you. In terms of routing speed, you only need a 100MBit router. On the other hand, if you plan on staying at the peak of performance, getting a gigabit router would be be...

    Need expert advice purchasing router!

First off, I'm no expert, I've just been reading a lot as I am looking to upgrade my current wireless solution. As it stands, you have a mixed network (two 802.11G clients and 1 802.11n client). This isn't very good as a mixed mode 802.11g/n network results in >50%+ loss in throughput when a...

Will Belkin F5D8235-4 work for me?

Can you put the router on top of the cabinet? Or the side? What about getting a router based on it's aesthetics? Or routing the antennas outside the cabinet (if you do so, you'd have to use different router, most n routers don't have detachable antennas due to MIMO). It's just not a good idea...

    Buffalo WHR-HP-G300N... anyone have it?

As far as I know, they are both single band. The differences, with stock firmware, are the WZR-HP-G300NH uses 3 Tx and 3 Rx antennas, has Gigabit, and WDS (w/ latest firmware). Whereas, the WHR-HP-G300N uses 2 Tx and 2 Rx antennas, has 100MBit, and WDS support. Those are the essential...
