looking router with external antenna for small ISP

hey guys first congratullation excellent forum, i learned a lot reading a lot of pots here.

I'm looking for 100$ router for distribuing internet on my block. with good omni antenna over my roof, and 10-20 clients. i'm thinking on dir-655 but the three antenna setup i dont think it would work... need to be router with 1 or 2 external antenna for make the antenna upgrade i guess...maybe a buffalo WHR-HP-G54? what do you guys think?

Will the clients be using 802.11n or 802.11g? Or a mixture of both? It's not a good idea to have use mixed mode n. See this article.

they going to use 802.11g maybe "b" i dont need n because the internet speed isnt fast enough for use N.

In that case, any competent G router with external removable antennas should be fine. No idea on what kind of antenna to use.

Have you thought about using DD-WRT at all?
