AIMESH Backhaul over Ethernet Issue - Firmware 3.0.0.4.384.21140

Hi LimJK, Thanks for the response. Correct, there isn't any other networking hardware between my router and the nodes. Even after vram reset my ethernet backhaul isn't kicking in. It's the oddest thing.

AIMESH Backhaul over Ethernet Issue - Firmware 3.0.0.4.384.21140

Just finished doing a full vram reset and reconfiguring the router and nodes. Both of my nodes are still showing as wireless instead of backhaul. Is anyone else having this issue? I remember in the first aimesh versions there was a bug where it showed the status as wireless even though it was...

AIMESH Backhaul over Ethernet Issue - Firmware 3.0.0.4.384.21140

Hi Ronald, The ethernet ports work for other devices that I have plugged into it. I even switched the connection to the two ports that were working for other devices. It's almost as if the nodes aren't testing for an ethernet connection. To clear the VRAM is it the small reset button plus the...

AIMESH Backhaul over Ethernet Issue - Firmware 3.0.0.4.384.21140

I've been using AIMESH for months now and haven't had an issue with the ethernet backhaul until I upgraded to this latest release. I have a 68P as the main router, and 2 68U nodes. All are connected with ethernet, and backhaul has always worked. I reset each router (by holding the small reset...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

I didn't try 308 (had tried the version before that). 648 is night and day compared to the first AiMesh version. I was able to maintain a call while bouncing around nodes on 648. There were about 2 seconds where I couldn't hear the person I was talking to as I hopped nodes, but it picked back...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

Hi Everyone, I used the original version of AiMesh firmware and had lots of stability issues. Tried this latest versions and things seem really good! I was able to hold a phone call over wifi while walking around my home... something I couldn't do using access points and poor cell service...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

This happens to mine quite a few times a day. I work from home and can really notice it. My laptop is connected via cat5, which is stable. My phone sitting next to me is on wifi and disxonnects several times a day. Different chromecast audio disconnects with the synced Pandora a bit. In...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Yeah, happens to me also. My wifi in my home is pretty unstable right now. I'm not sure if my main 68u can't handle two nodes and all of the traffic, or if these drivers need more stability.

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Hi All, I have my AIMesh running on Ac68U as main, and then another Ac68u as a node and an Ac68p as a node. I'm having issues with the system switching from 2g to 5g on the outskirts of the coverage area. I was wondering if there's a way to configure the AIMesh to require a higher db so 5g is...

[Official Beta] AiMesh beta firmware for RT-AC68U/RT-AC86U/RT-AC5300/RT-AC88U

Hi All, New here and was trying to get an AiMesh set up with my two TM1900 routers that I converted to the AC68U. I have the official firmware updated from 1/2/2018 for AiMesh, but I'm unable to find any nodes. Does anyone have a cheat sheet on it? I've tried the instructions and resets many...
